I would like one of your items from the online store, but with a slight change to trimmings, colour, sleeve length etc.  Would this be possible?

I would like to get something made to a design i have in my head can this be done?

Absolutely, we can discuss what you have in mind, look at images and i will email some sketches.  Once we have agreed on the style I can start the bespoke process.

what is the bespoke process?

IF I LIVE REASONABLY NEAR TO THE CLIENT, I TEND TO FIT THEM MYSELF INITIALLY WHICH INVOLVES TAKING THEIR MEASUREMENTS AND DISCUSSING WHAT THEY WOULD LIKE.  AFTER THE FIRST CONSULTATION, I WOULD DRAFT UP A PATTERN USING THEIR MEASUREMENTS AND CONSTRUCT A TOILE (TEST GARMENT) FOR THE NEXT FITTING.  AT THE NEXT FITTING I WOULD FIT THE TOILE TO THE CLIENT, MAKE ANY ADJUSTMENTS AND STYLE LINES.  SOMETIMES IT CAN TAKE A FEW FITTINGS TO GET EVERYTHING JUST RIGHT, WHICH IS NORMAL IN BESPOKE WORK.  AFTER THE TOILE FITS, THE STYLE IS CONFIRMED AND THE SWATCHES AGREED ON IT IS THEN TIME FOR ME TO MAKE UP THE FINAL GARMENT USING THE FABRICS.

How would this work if I live in a different country?

FOR INTERNATIONAL CLIENTS, THE PROCESS ABOVE CAN BE DONE ENTIRELY BY EMAIL AND SKYPE.  INITIAL MEASUREMENTS ARE SENT BY EMAIL, THE TOILE POSTED OUT TO THE CLIENT AND THE CLIENT WOULD THEN EMAIL PHOTOS OF THEM WEARING THE TOILE.
